In my house I can’t even use the restroom without someone knocking on the door, or screaming “Mom, open the door!”. I feel as if I get no privacy at all unless Eric is home. I had to go out and purchase a gate for the kitchen, because Gavin always is right under my feet when I try to cook, and the kitchen is no place for a four year old. He hates the gate, which is almost funny. If I am not in their view at all times they get very upset, especially Laura. Now when I cook I move her right outside of the gate, so that she can watch me cook. The other night Gav decided to pull a chair up and join her. Looks like from here on out I will have an audience when I cook, which is really funny! Sometimes I will dance and sing…..which I do very badly, but they enjoy it! Ha!

Laura loves bath time.It is kind of refreshing to have a child that likes bath time, as I have fought with Gavin for years now. He just hates to have his hair washed, he screams like I am trying to drown him. He is doing much better though. It is just so funny that she doesn’t give me any trouble when it comes to bath time, she thinks it is just play time!

So I was recently heard of someone giving away some free theater seating. How awesome is that? I wonder where it came from. It would be really cool to get those seats and transform a room into a theater. Just add some home theater carpet, and a jumbo screen and you’ve got one sweet room! Eric and I never have any time to go out and watch movies together, so this would be perfect for us.

So……I stumbled across this today, yes, on Craigslist. Guess how much they want for it. Seriously, guess. One hundred dollars. Yes, $100.00. I am not kidding. These are “fine”, “handmade”, “high quality” beds. Twin size. Made right here in Nashville. Who would purchase that crap for a hundred bucks? They should find another purpose for these. Maybe they belong in a scrap yard. Maybe that is the place where they got the metal that these are made out of. Again, people are crazy. Possibly I am just in a bad mood. Nope. This is just crap.

There have been so many times that I have forgotten to take my camera when we go somewhere. Like the zoo. When we went to the Nashville Zoo last weekend I forgot my camera. Of course I run into all of the other mothers with their digital cameras. I was glad to find out that Emily had brought hers. She was nice enough to send me some pictures she had taken. I need to keep it charged and keep it in the diaper bag!

So this weekend has been pretty stressful. For some reason I am just stressed to the max, and the children have not been on their best behavior this weekend. I think I am getting sick, or maybe it is just the stress, but I keep running to the kitchen in the search of something to eat or drink. When I finally find something, it ends up having a funny taste or smell and I loose my appetite. Within a few minutes later I head back into the kitchen. I am so sick of it, and I am wasting food left and right. Everything I pour to drink even smells funny. I have been such a bad mom today because I just feel so tired. Hopefully I am not coming down with the flu. I just wish I could crawl into bed. I should have gotten a flu shot! I have not cooked dinner in I don’t know how long, and I had planned on cooking tonight, but with the way I feel I probably won’t.

Eric has been thinking about taking his vacation from work soon. Although we don’t have the funds to go on “vacation”, I still think the time spent together is well needed. It would be really neat to go out and get some really cute equestrian riding apparel and go find somewhere to go on a horseback ride. Maybe somewhere in the mountains where it is quiet and peaceful!

Here recently Neo has been a very recluse little dog. He used to come out and play with us, and cuddle. Now he just hides underneath the couch or the bed. I was just remembering back to when Gavin and Neo were little babies, and found this picture. It makes me sad how fast Gavin is growing up.

Laura is now almost 8 months old. I have lost a lot of the weight I had gained with her, but not enough. There isn’t enough time or money to join a gym, although if I could I would love to. We are trying to sell our van, and if we do I might see if I can get a YMCA membership. I would try something like hydroxycut, but I am truly scared to. My blood pressure is already high, and I would prefer not to be jittery all the time. I tried to fast, but that did not last long. I did purchase my duo stroller, so maybe if I can remember to grab it up out of the van before Eric goes to work, the kids and I can go on a walk.

I cannot understand why some people on Craigslist are just plain dumb. There are so many people that try to sell stuff at ridiculous prices. For example, someone trying to sell a recliner that is older than I am and has holes throughout, and they still want money for it. They should give it away for free or trash it. There are good deals on Craigslist, don’t get me wrong, but I honestly think going to a discount furniture store would be a better decision. Although I was thrilled to get something for free on Craigslist, how often does that happen?

My mother and father seem to love the Tennessee Titans. I wish I had extra money to buy them some Titans tickets. They have had some things going on in the last few months, and I just wish I could do something special for them. Maybe one day I could buy them something that they could actually use! They just usually get us such nice gifts for Christmas and birthdays, I wish I could just do more for them.

So far it seems that Gavin likes going to school. He also starting riding the bus, and he likes that as well. It just now seems as if he is bored when he gets home, like there is not enough to do here. It is almost like he needs a model rocket to put together! He has a room full of toys, video game systems, and he pretty much owns the rest of the house, so I can’t see why he is bored. Maybe he just misses his friends at school, or maybe he is just tired when he gets home!

So I just received the locket I ordered a while back. The locket itself is really pretty. I even had Laura’s name and birthday engraved on the back. I am just a little dissapointed in how the picture turned out. I just wished I had picked out a better picture. I had no idea that they would crop everything around her head out. It makes her head look funny. I plan to order gold lockets for my mother and grandmother for Christmas. I will just put the kids pictures in myself when they arrive. I have never seen my mother wear any kind of locket, but she was just so in love with this locket that I decided to get her one.
