You guys now how much I hate it when almost every purchase I make online bites me in the rear, but I am happy to say that this is the opposite! The other day I was looking for a cute Winnie the Pooh television that I had run across on Ebay. I found a bunch that were “new in box”, but the box had been opened, and they did not offer a return, just in case the item arrived broken. The seller on Ebay charged so much for shipping as well. I ended up doing a search for the television in google, and ran upon Overstock.com. I have never previously purchased anything from them, but they offered such a great deal on the television, and then I found that they also carried the matching DVD player. The fact that they had such great prices on these, and the fact that they could ship both for just one shipping price of 2.95, had me sold. I ordered them on Saturday, and they arrived on Tuesday! Can you believe that! Crazy fast shipping. They both arrived safe, in good packaging, and both worked perfectly! I had the smoothest purchase, and I will go back there to purchase the lingerie chest I need for the new apartment! Before I check anywhere else, I will always check Overstock.com, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

So we purchased our first LCD television a few days ago, although we aren’t very happy with it, it is still nice to have. I can’t wait to get a tv wall mount so that we can put it on the wall. I am sure it will look so much better when it is haning on the wall.

So, early today, around lunch time, I sold our big screen projection television. We have been meaning to sell it since we are moving in about 3 weeks, but I had no idea it would sell this fast! Gavin was in tears after they left with it. Laura kept looking over to watch Blues Clues, which wasn’t there. Both of the children were being so ill behaved! I could have screamed. I even went to the extreme to email someone on Craigslist, who had a LCD television, that they were willing to deliver. They never emailed me back. I was hoping that they would save the day. Gavin is still be whiny as I type this. I was just going to purchase one for the bedroom, but use it in the living room until we move. Wal-Mart has a really nice one, I think I might just ask Eric to go pick it up. It is only a 19 inch though, but I think it will be fine for the bedroom once we move. For the kids room I am ordering a really cute Winnie the Pooh television and dvd player. LOL. It is really cute.

A talking microwave, how cool is that? It would crack me up! Having a voice instead of a beep telling you that your popcorn is ready? Ha! That is awesome! Made by Hamilton Beach®, of course! Wal-Mart is sold out currently, and I have read of a lot of sight impaired people that are waiting on them to come back into stock, maybe once they become plentiful I will purchase one then. I can see, and if these help those that can not see, those people should have first grabs at these. I heard that Best Buy once carried them, but no longer. They seem to be well liked, so I can’t believe that a store like Best Buy would discontinue them. There are a few on Amazon, but the sellers have jacked up the price by 40% or so from Wal-Marts price.

Laura is really, really sick. I think she might end up with a sinus infection. Hopefully not. She can’t breath through her nose, which is getting really old. We were all doing really fine until Gavin went back to school after Christmas break, then he brought this stuff home. Why do schools have to be so damn germy? Isn’t there anything that can be done? I am a firm believer that schools should be sanitized throughly, once a week.  I am not just talking about someone “cleaning”, I am talking about a company coming and and sanitizing the hell out of that place. No parent should be afraid that sending their kid to school could end up with there child  in the hospital fighting for their life, simply because they picked up staph from school. Why sanitize after there is a problem?

Yes, I have admitted that I am a HUGE dork. And I don’t care. Seriously. But for all the dorks out there like me, if you purchase any kind of Eclectrics® appliance for your kitchen, you will find that it is extremely hard to find covers for them. You can find almost any color or any material for Kitchenaid®, but who cares about those? Just kidding. Anyways, I have found a really nice lady on Ebay that has been making mine special order, so that they fit mine perfectly, and she doesn’t charge a fortune. I have recently been thinking about something to sell on Ebay, like full time. For the ease of things, I actually thought about buying some wholesale fashion jewelry, and then reselling it. It would be simple to list, and to ship. I absolutely hate having to ship huge items! I really don’t like dealing with UPS either, and it is just too expensive to ship larger items with the post office.

So, yesterday I met this lady in Rivergate. She told me that she would be driving a Dodge Charger, and that it was a burnt orange color and had many Dodge Charger accessories. I met her to sell her a travel system that I had bought but couldn’t use. It was funny seeing this little pimped out car, with two babies in the back. The funny thing about it, is that she was trying to talk me down, because she felt guilty about spending that much on something she did not need. Well, lady, don’t you feel bad about the money it looks like you have invested in that car?

So we have been painting at work. There are just many things around there that need to be updated. Both of my wrists hurt, and I still think my brain is a little messed up from breathing all of that primer, but I think the place is already looking better. It is amazing how much paint alone can do. I still wish he would let us order some dog supplies, so we could create a cute small retail area out front!

I must say, I love my new mattress! Last night Eric and I got into a little, well lets say “disagreement” and I ended up snoozing on the couch. I woke up with an aching neck and aching lower back. As soon as he went to work, at 7 am, I jumped up and went and got in bed. Within 5 minutes of laying down, all of my aches went away. It was freaking great! I didn’t even have to take any ibuprofen!

So, we tried to watch this movie last night. I don’t see why people were saying that this was a good movie. It was sooo boring. Not to mention that during the “sex” scene I ended up hiding under the blanket thinking I was going to vomit. It looked more like rape to me. Vomit.

This is seriously how much a gallon of milk costs? How long has it been at this price? I swear it wasn’t that long ago that it was around 3 bucks.

Some major screw wouldn’t come out when they went in to fix the idle issue, and it broke off….now it has to be taken somewhere to be cut out. They are having to set us up with a loner, because we can’t drive ours until they fix it. So much for having that awesome remote start tomorrow when it is all cold out. Hopefully at least, maybe we will get some fun car to drive until ours is fixed. For now that is all I am going to say. I feel sick.

I feel sad. Laura is about to be 1 year old. I know I need to just get over it, but I can’t believe that her first year has gone by so fast. Soon I will not have a baby anymore, I will have a toddler who runs from me, talks back to me, and doesn’t want to be held as much. I will never get to experience it again.

I found this picture, I think it was on the same day we brought her home. Look what a sweet kind father he is. He was so awesome in helping me when we came home from the hospital. Look how little she was……such a ♥ sweet ♥ newborn.
