First of all, I just want to tell you all that we love our new mattress! Love it! We received the 11 inch queen size, with the protective cover and a down cover! What a bonus! It took Eric a little while to put together the foundation, but it was well worth his effort! Our mattress expanded within minutes! It is just so nice that the company believes so much in their product that they offer a ten year warranty! I would recommend them to anyone! Gavin thought the mattress what so cool. He kept saying over and over how awesome the new mattress is! We are planning to purchase two twin sized memory foam mattresses from bedinabox.com for Gavin’s bunk bed. We could honestly never go back to a traditional mattress. I could tell an immediate difference in how my back felt when I woke up from the first night of sleeping on this bed! We didn’t get back as much as we would have liked to get back for this years tax return. But, again, anything is always a blessing. I was actually thinking about us looking at some new wedding rings, but we really don’t need them. I just thought it would be cool to get a solitaire jacket for my ring, but that can wait until our ten year anniversary or something crazy like that. I just hope the return hurries up and gets here before we move. We are relying on it to cover our moving expenses.
I have sold a lot of things in order to make our move easier. Our big screen is gone, but we will be replacing it with an LCD, that we can hang above the fireplace. Our end tables are gone, I want to replace those with round end tables, to make is safe for Laura once she starts walking. I am in the process of selling our bedroom suite, just because I want a new one. ;o) That is all really, but I am not replacing these things until we get in the new place, so we might be living out of boxes for a couple of weeks. No biggie. Worse things have happened!
So we are officially moving out of this dump on the 27th! I will actually get the keys on the 23rd, but I wanted a few days to go over and get everything cleaned up, and all of that. The cable guy pushed me into getting the cable, phone and internet package, and to have it set up on the 23rd. You know, the famous, between the hours of 8-12. I hope the kids and I aren’t sitting over there for long with out television, or they will go nuts! I am under a huge amount of stress right now, but I am also really looking forward to getting the hell out of here! We will no longer have to deal with the smokers downstairs. Smoke will no longer come up through the dryer vent. I will no longer have to worry about the b*tch downstairs that always has to park 2 inches from our car. I will no longer have to climb 20 concrete stairs with my 11 month old on my hip, and tons of Wal-mart bags on my arm. We will have a fireplace. I will have a laundry room! A huge laundry room! Yes! We will live in the very back, on a dead end, facing the woods, where there is tons of parking. No more looking out and seeing the parking lot! Oh yes, I am happy. It might not be the house we wanted, but it is much better than this!
