As of right now her name is “Catrina”. She currently lives in a shelter two and a half hours away. I am planning to drive a total of 5 hours tomorrow evening to go get her. Found her on PetFinder.com, and for some reason I feel like she needs me. Yes, I am crazy. =)

With all of the money trouble the United States is having right now, it would be a good idea to have a futures broker. Hopefully in the future this will all pass and none of us with have to worry about it anymore. It really frightens me that the government doesn’t seem to have a back up plan, or at least not one that I have heard of. I just really wish that they had some awesome plan to fix all of this. It is sad to go to the grocery store these days, the cost of food has gone up so much. It hurts the wallet!

Something that people don’t really thing about is their computer temperature. It is very important to make sure you keep your CPU fan clean of any dust. It is also important to check it once a month, as well as dust the whole CPU. There is nothing worse than overheating your computer. There are computers now that actually have coolers. Eric had looked into one of those, when he found that for some strange reason our fan wasn’t cooling like it should. Even his graphics card has a mini fan. In the near future Eric is going to just buy a new case and rebuild the computer to his specifications. After having a fan malfunction on one of his own computers, he understand the importance of keeping his cool, especially during the hot summers we have here. Now that our kitchen is overflowing with gadgets and small appliances I would like to purchase just a few more! Ha! We would like to get one of those hug margarita maker, but they are between a hundred and two hundred dollars. And I would like to get a small popcorn machines, and I think for now that would be enough to add to our tiny little kitchen! Eric and I love to cook now, so having all of these appliances makes it a little easier, and fun!

Our sandwich maker was the best buy! We have used the heck out of it in just the few days we have had it. I never had one growing up, and Eric thought that was weird. I thought it was a silly purchase, but boy was I completely wrong! I love it, and I can’t imagine not having one. We would like to find one that does 4 sandwiches instead of 2, but that has been very hard. I did find a Mickey Mouse waffle maker on Ebay last week, and of course I had to order it. I swear, I am an Ebay junkie.

Tonight while I was watching Living Lohan I became really jealous of them. They were in Las Vegas, and it looks so beautiful there. The las vegas hotels look so beautiful! I would assume that Las Vegas isn’t getting much money these days, considering the way things are with the economy. We are doing okay so far, although I am scared that they might start cutting the hours where Eric works. That would be horrible consider we don’t really have much saved up for such a situation. Hopefully things will turn around, it would if they would just figure out the oil situation.

There are so many bad checks going around. I went to the Humane Society the other day to look at some sweet little kittens, and while I was there I found out that they no longer takes checks because of all of the people are writing bad checks. Why in the heck would you go to adopt a sweet animal and not even have the money for the adoption fee? That is just awful! I told them that they should look into the authorize.net system. They had so many sweet kittens, but I am looking for a sweet long-haired female, which Eric doesn’t really want a kitten, and he might get his wish because I can’t seem to find one that I have fallen in love with.

I found an antique desk and I am going to try to pick it up tomorrow!!! So excited! This will be my 2nd piece of furniture to redo all by myself! How fun! I am going to strip it and then give it a black rubbed finish, just like I did the dresser. I needed a desk, so I can get a computer for myself, since I always hog the living room computer! Even though I have a blackberry and can do almost everything on it, but it will be cool to play games with Eric. I am SO EXCITED! I can’t wait to complete this next one!

I am seriously upset with Ebay! Now they have it where you cannot leave buyers negative feedback, but they can leave it for the seller. This is TOTALLY UNFAIR! I just sold a phone, and in the auction it CLEARLY stated that the item would ship within 4 business days. I shipped this guys phone out on the 4th business day, as stated, and he is freaking out and being very rude. Now, I shipped USPS Priority for his convenience, as I didn’t have to do so. He is threatening me, pretty much by the threat of leaving me negative feedback which I clearly don’t deserve….BUT HE DOES. He is pushy and highly rude! And he doesn’t have very good English, so it is very hard for me to understand him. But it isn’t hard for me to understand that he is RUDE! Ugh! He deserves negative! I am getting to the point that I HATE Ebay! I do understand that there are a TON of sellers that aren’t fair, that will leave you negative, even if you don’t deserve it, but this has gone too far Ebay! Gone tooooo far!

So, we have been kidding ourselves. Our puppy is only 7 months old and we thought we had her potty trained. We thought wrong. Tonight, only about an hour after she went out for a walk, she pissed on our floor. Damn! I thought we were past all of that! But, we can’t ask things of her that aren’t typical of a 7 month old puppy. She is trying her best! I missed a couple of hours at work today, since I had to go to the doctor. Good thing I wasn’t installing a KVM box! I am still trying to figure out how to connect our lab machine to our network of computers. Hopefully I can get that done on Thursday.

I haven’t been feeling well this weekend, so we didn’t do much for fathers day. Eric is hard to shop for, it isn’t like I can go out and get him a new set of golf bags, since he doesn’t golf, he is just so hard to shop for. Gavin gave him a card, and I cooked some dinner, and that was about all we did. Hopefully we can all do something together as a family soon. We just don’t have the time here lately.

Naobi gets her sutures removed tomorrow! So excited! No more medical devices for her! I am so glad that we decided to go ahead with the surgery, as everything went smooth! I was so upset the day her surgery was performed, but it has totally been worth it! She has been such a strong girl, and has done so well. She is overdue for her bath, which I am giving her tomorrow, so she should feel like a new dog! So glad she has made it through this! No more anal gland smell! Ever again!

Have you ever had the opportunity to visit Hilton Head Island? I have never had that chance myself, but after looking at some pictures of the place online, I can’t wait to go! It would be the perfect spot to take a summer vacation or celebrate an anniversary. All you would have to do is get online and check out a Hilton Head rental, then book your plane tickets and be on your way! What a beautiful place to go and relax. I can’t imagine being at such a beautiful place like Hilton Head Island and not having the best time!

So today I was looking through some diet pill reviews and came across a review for Alli, a new diet pill. The side effects on this one are nasty! Who wants to deal with gas with an oily anal discharge or hard to control bowel movements? If you are that desperate to loose weight, join a gym and watch what you eat! It cracks me up to think that people are dealing with those nasty side effects right now. I would love if there was a diet pill that actually worked to help along with diet and exercise, and one that didn’t come with nasty side effects.

Laura still co-rooms with Eric and myself. She has her own bed, her crib, in our room. We tried last night to get her to sleep in her brothers room, since they will soon be sharing a bunk bed. The night went fine, but when it came to nap time today, she wasn’t having it. I wish I could find a good sale on toddler beds, but I still think she is way to young for that. She wouldn’t stay in bed if she didn’t have to!
