So sleepy.

Posted by Jen

I am so sleepy! It is hard being a kitty, and having 0 responsibilities! Thank goodness Daddy put this basket beside his desk for me to sleep in!

Bob stroller!

Posted by Jen

If you are looking to purchase a new stroller, or maybe even a jogging stroller, I would highly suggest to look into getting a new Bob stroller! There are so many adorable strollers to choose from! I wish I had heard about these back when Laura was smaller. It is hard now to keep her in a stroller, much less go jogging with her in one! That would be a joke! Although it would be nice to just go out and have a nice walk every evening with the whole family, it is just hard to find the time to do so!

Going out of town!

Posted by Jen

I hope that I never have to leave to go out of the country for an emergency, as I have no passport. I have never had the need for a passport, so I have never even looked into getting one. I know it can take some time to get it once you have ordered it. It would be really horrible if for some reason we needed to jump on a flight, because we couldn’t. Maybe there is some type of emergency passport that you can get, although I doubt it.

New games for Gavin.

Posted by Jen

I ordered Gavin 10 new Gamecube games today. And I also ordered him a wireless controller, so he can run away from his sister when she is trying to take it from him. She is a little snot when it comes to Gavin’s controller, she is always trying to steal it when he is in the middle of game play. I order so much stuff online, and hopefully incontinence supplies will never be something I have to order! Eww. Anyways, I hope he enjoys his new games, as I got a killer deal on them, so I bought more than he really needed.

We love “Chewie”.

Posted by Jen

So Chewie is warming up to us pretty fast. He spent his first few hours back at our house under the bed. But he has slowly been coming out to explore the house. He is the most loving cat. It is pretty funny. He loves to be held like a baby, and to have his belly rubbed. We got him a window perch, but he is slightly unsure about it. I am sure it will just take him some time to get used to it. He likes to go out on the porch and explore, I wish Eric and I could order some California wines, and sit outside and drink them together while Chewie explored. Ha! But, Tennessee state laws prohibit us to order wine, which is completely stupid if you ask me!

So freaking tired.

Posted by Jen

So Gavin and I arrived back home last night/this morning around 1:30A.M. after driving to pick up “Chewie”. We left Nashville around 7P.M., arrived at Crossville around 10P.M. It was a LONG trip. My ass fell asleep during the trip. I really wanted a Persian, and I found this lady that had some 17 week olds in Crossville, and they are beautiful. So we drove, and drove to get this little boy. Well, considering the trip he had back home, and then spending the night in the bathroom, he was pretty pissed off this morning. Although he wasn’t mean to me this morning when I loaded him up in his crate at 6A.M., sounds like he was pissed after I left him at the clinic I work at. One of the ladies there, Terry, went to get him of the cage this morning, and he ripped her face open. That is not a good sign. I am praying that we didn’t purchase a hell cat! She is ok, and one of the other ladies, Tammy, is going to bathe him, and get him all clean and ready to come home. Tammy is like a “cat charmer”. It is really funny. I just called around noon to see how he was, and she said he is sweet, that he is just scared. His world has been turned upside down in under 24 hours, so I can understand why he is stressed. I would be too. Hopefully this evening he can just come home and hang out in my bed. Maybe he will watch some TV with me. Lol. I will post pictures after he gets home.

So…what do you think? Catrina update.

Posted by Jen

Catrina was really sick, and I didn’t feel comfortable adopting her, so we didn’t. In the weeks following I decided that I wanted a Persian. I have found a few, but they are TWO HOURS AWAY, but that was how long I was going to have to drive to get Catrina, so I will just have to get over it.

This is a 17 week old doll faced Persian. It is a little boy. I think I might just drive 2 hours on Thursday to make him mine. =-)

How many times……

Posted by Jen

I am not sure how many times Eric is going to have to call his human resource department, but it is getting out of hand. He has almost worked at his job for 3 years, and from day one he has been requesting that I be added on his life insurance plan, so he can have life insurance on me. He keeps changing it online, and then when he gets his printout in the mail, it says that he passed that coverage. It is very frustrating!

We go through so many.

Posted by Jen

We go through so many stamps at work. I think that Dr. Graham has decided to get our own postage meter so we can just print our own, or however that works. I am not sure if it is postage tape, but I am assuming that it will be like that. Speaking of work, everything there seems to be going great. We have picked up in the last few months, things have been quite busy. We have had so many cute kittens and puppies come through to see us, it seems to be that time of the year. I feel blessed to get to work with all of Gods little creatures. Too bad I don’t own a farm, or I could start a rescue, which would be fulfilling.

Health Insurance

Posted by Jen

What the heck is medicare advantage? I am not even sure how plain old medicare works, or who qualifies for it. I know that I personally don’t have insurance, and it is kicking my butt. I had to go to the hospital not too long ago, and the bills just keep rolling in, and it makes me a bit nauseous. There was some form of discount form we were given, but it ended up just being a waste of my time, as they act like they never received it, and I had to send it 4 times! After I sent it the fourth time, and they still said they didn’t get it, I said forget it!

Craigslist

Posted by Jen

I am so sick of posting something on Craigslist and then getting it flagged and removed for no reason at all. I am apparently not the only person that is upset over this.  Seems there is a bad batch of people that are constantly flagging posts just to be mean. They must think it is funny, but it really makes me mad. I love craigslist, or I did love it. We are currently trying to find a kitten on there, but it isn’t going  very well. The kittens we do find on there are too old, or are sickly looking, or just aren’t what we are looking for. I am apparently going to have to drive 2 hours to get a kitten, because there aren’t any around here that I would like to raise. There are always tons of diamond rings on there as well, and I wish I could buy one! I would like to have a wrap for my solitaire.

Need more!

Posted by Jen

Seems like these days everyone needs more memory. I am talking about memory for computers, phones, cameras, etc. We have all of this technology, and it is hard to keep up with it! It would really be beneficial at work if we got a new memory stick for each one of our computers, although I think we are about to get all new computer set-ups, which will be super nice! We are changing a few things around, and adding some new programs for the computer, which will give me something to work on. Should be fun.

Las Vegas baby!

Posted by Jen

We are leaving for Las Vegas! Just kidding! Ha! I wish we were leaving for a nice long vacation in Las Vegas! We sure do deserve to go! Poor Eric and I haven’t had a vacation since Laura was born, and we considered being in the hospital a week when she was born a vacation. We didn’t have to get up and go to work, and Gavin stayed with my mother and father, so things were so calm! The nurses took Laura at night, so we got 4 full nights of peaceful sleep! I am sure my parents will be checking out some prices for Las Vegas travel, as it seems as if they go every year!

I hope that stress will not lead into illness! I have been so stressed lately, and I can’t really figure out why! All of this stress is causing me to break out, maybe I should look into some natural acne treatment!!!! But seriously, the way things are going with the economy really frightens me! I am afraid of what might happen in the next few months if the government doesn’t get a grip on oil prices! I can’t go to the store and just pick up a few things anymore, because I end up leaving with two bags of stuff that cost me fifty dollars! Milk alone is close to five dollars a gallon. Seriously!
