Maybe for Christmas I will get my own computer. I always hate taking up “computer time” when I am home. I feel like I am keeping Eric from doing something he needs to do on the computer. I need a laptop, so I can sit on the couch while Eric is on the desktop. I can email him from the couch! How funny would that be? I don’t pay any games or anything like that so I wouldn’t need a super expensive one. Just one that I can blog on, and of course search Ebay!

Not to long ago Eric and I purchased our new camera on Ebay. We got an awesome deal! We got a Polaroid m625, which is a 6 mega pixel. The retail price for these was right around $150, but the guy was selling his for $50. He had won it as a prize at some store opening, but he already had a camera, so he was just selling it to make a few bucks. It was brand new in the box. It has given us no trouble at all. What we really love about this camera is the re-chargeable battery. We can charge the battery for a few hours, and the battery will last for a couple of weeks before we need to charge it again. We only use the camera a few times a week to take pictures of the kids when they are being cute. I am very pleased with the camera. Before our new camera we owned a 2 mega pixel that I had bought back about 3 years ago. Now, that camera was a good one, but very out dated. Our old Samsung ate batteries like crazy. I was so sick of buying double A batteries! I can honestly say I will never purchase another camera that takes regular batteries. Maybe it is time for you to get a new camera. Maybe you should check out the Nikon D300! I have read great reviews on that camera. But if you are on a budget like we are, try the Polaroid m635! I love it!

Our apartment has really ugly cabinets, in my opinion. I think adding some nice cabinet hardware might help them look a bit better. Our apartment is due to be remodeled, but if we wanted to move into one that has already been remodeled our rent would jump by one hundred dollars, which to me is not worth it at all! Just another reason I look forward to getting a house in March!

So Amelia and I were looking at rings the other day at work. She found a really pretty ring that I think her boyfriend is going to get her. Well, it is a known fact that Gavin loves Spiderman. After looking around in the kids bedding section the other day I decided that he needs some new Spiderman decor for his room. He has mostly decor from the movie “Cars”. Almost everything we bought him for Christmas last year had Lighting McQueen on it somewhere. I have been recently been thinking about getting a radar detector. We have a Nissan Quest, which Eric calls the “gold bullet”, and the speedometer is the middle of the console, making it hard for me to see how fast I am going. Sometimes I have no clue that I am speeding! A radar detector would be a good item to have!

So, after reading up on fasting, and attempting to start a 30 day fast, I learned that our colon holds the key to our health. During a fast you are recommended to do a colon cleanse. My mother and father really like Tennessee football. I know that the football season is approaching, and I bet that they are excited! I would like to take Gavin to a football game this year, I bet he would really enjoy it! Maybe I can talk Eric into getting us some tickets. So we just got in the dog tag that I ordered. Gavin loves it! I was amazed at the quality. They have so many dog tags to choose from. I decided to go with the one that has a soccer ball. The chain that was included with it is the perfect size for a child, as Gavin is 4 and I didn’t even have to adjust it. Gavin is autistic so this is a good item to have for his safety. I should have included more information but I did not think about it at the time. I just decided to have his name engraved on it. Next time I get one I will include more information. Well, I am sure that everyone knows by now that we hate the apartments that we live in. The apartments themselves are okay, with a better maintenance team and better management this place would be an okay choice. It seems as if everything around here is just falling apart. Most of the stuff that is falling apart is just outdated and needs to be upgraded. It seems as if every time I go to get our mail I have to fight with the mailbox to get it open. I wish the management would look into getting new mailboxes or even check out cbu mailboxes. Something needs to be done about the mailboxes, but I am sure nothing will be done.

Eric and I both have life insurance. I am not sure what the difference is between life insurance and term life insurance. I intend to do some research and find out. Purchasing life insurance is a bit creepy if you ask me, but it is necessary if you have a family. I know that when my grandmother passed last year she had life insurance, which helped pay off her past bills.

Lately it has been so hot here in Tennessee. We haven’t had a good rain storm in weeks. I have heard that even though Florida tends to have hot summers as well, the air quality there is so much better. I would love to be able to purchase a piece of Miami real estate!
