Dangerous or not?

December 22nd, 2008 | Category: Misc.

I know a lot of people struggle to loose weight, but is it harming their body to take the diet pills that are on the market today? I truly believe that even if you take something such as Ephedrasil hardcore, if you eat like you should and exercise you will be better off than to totally quit eating and force your body to exercise more than it is used to doing. That is how people get into trouble, and get sick. All of these stars that starve themselves to get into that small dress for an awards show, and they do it in a week or just a few days, this is very unhealthy.

Ha, ha, ha!

December 14th, 2008 | Category: Pets, Health, Shopping

Today I was looking at one of my favorite websites for puppy items when I came across a treadmill made for dogs! How funny is that! I am sure it is a great idea, for those that live in apartments, etc. Some dogs do have certain health problems, and walking can help, but mainly many dogs are overweight and this would benefit them very well. You would not believe how many overweight animals, not just dogs…cats too, that come into the animal clinic that I work at. So many people overfeed their animals, it is crazy!

How cute is this???

Black Friday.

November 29th, 2008 | Category: Silly, Shopping, Holiday, Misc.

So Black Friday was a blast. Eric went with me this year, and it was so nice to hang out with him. Although Target did not have the best deals, like I have seen in the past, they did have this awesome little notebook computer that is super tiny. It would fit into my purse. It didn’t have Windows on it, but I personally would only use it to access the internet. We ended up going to Kohls, and we found a steam cleaner we needed, and Eric ran to get a GPS (that everyone was camping out for) that my dad wanted. We were 3rd in line when they opened, and you could hear everyone behind us talking about how they were there to get the GPS. I think Eric was the first to the location where they had the systems. How funny would it have been if Eric just pulled up a buggy and dumped all of the GPS systems into it. People would have freaked out. I am glad that I split from him to go for the steam cleaner as they only had one! Can you believe that! I was first back there, and I was in a frenzy because I did not think that they had it in stock to begin with. After freaking out I found one stashed, and then four or five people came running up behind me looking for it. Ha! I got the only one! Suckers! I just like the rush, as silly as it is!

Wish I could go on vaction, far away!

November 02nd, 2008 | Category: Television

With the way the economy is right now, I doubt that people are standing in any long lines to get their passport picture taken. I can’t imagine how anyone can go on vacation right now. Gas prices are down at least, but who knows for how long. I will also be so glad when the whole election process is over! I am so sick of hearing about it on the news. The news has become depressing, they can only talk about how bad the economy is in. I also heard the other day that a little boy was shot while trick or treating on Halloween. That is so awful!

The best birthday gift EVER.

October 09th, 2008 | Category: Pets, Cats, Misc.

Meet Chandler Bing. I rescued him on Tuesday. He was about 3 minutes away from being euthanized due to over crowding at our local animal control facility. Unfortunately it is something that is hard to deal with, but it has to been done due to over crowding of “unwanted” or “unplanned” pets. I wish people would just spay and neuter their pets. I just couldn’t let it happen to him. There he was, in a small cage with about 5 other kittens, just looking straight at me. SO….I took him out and adopted him on the spot, about 3 minutes before he was no longer to be. So, happy birthday to me! And what a great deal for him. He does have a kitty cold, from being in the shelter with so many others that were sick, but he tested negative for feline aids and leukemia, and negative for worms and ear mites. He is a bit underweight, but I am working on that. =) He is currently getting B12 injections to help him beat off this cold. He is the most GENTLE and LOVING kitten I have ever met. We adore him.

I have never seen someone fight so hard for Autism awareness.

These two are very special people.

Opening so many eyes and ears.

So…how much Spanish do you know?

October 03rd, 2008 | Category: Rants

Obama fully believes that instead of us worrying about people that cannot speak English, we need to start worrying that we don’t know Spanish! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I am NOT going to learn Spanish to make it easier for those that move here and can’t speak English. That is bull sh*t! If you are going to live here, where we speak ENGLISH, do us, the legalized AMERICANS, a favor and learn some f*cking ENGLISH!

No money.

October 01st, 2008 | Category: Misc.

I bet that debt collection agencies are doing good these days, since the economy is going downhill. I hate it that so many people are loosing their homes. That would be so awful to go through. People are having to leave their pets behind as well, which has the shelters over flowing with abandoned animals. I just wish the government would have came up with a game plan months ago, as they knew we were in a bad situation, or they would have never done the stimulus. I guess they were hoping it would all just go away. By the way, did you know that Obama opposes off-shore drilling? Just something to think about. More off-shore drilling would help our oil costs. But oh well, what does he care? It isn’t like he will have to pay for his gas anyways, we will! Do your research before you vote, PLEASE. If Obama is voted in, I am sure there will be plenty of “Don’t blame me, I voted for McCain” bumper stickers.

I hate changing medicine.

October 01st, 2008 | Category: Misc.

So my doctor has changed my blood pressure medicine again! This will be the 4th medicine that he has switched me to. Now he wants to try a diuretic, to get the extra fluid off of my heart….at least this is what he thinks is causing it, I have no clue. I know some people use them as weight loss pills, so if I loose weight from taking them I will not complain. Ha!

Watching “The Soup”.

September 07th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

So I am finished with dinner, finally. I am just hanging out at my desk watching “The Soup”, which I love by the way. I am going to look into getting a humidifier, for this winter. I can’t believe that people have to look into getting Ebac dehumidifiers. That is crazy to me, considering that our house air always feel really dry. But I am assuming they purchase them for basements and such.

Somethings I just don’t understand.

September 07th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

Eric has life insurance on all of us through his job. I am not sure why people would have to go and look for term life insurance quote, although I am not completely sure what “term life” insurance is anyway.

Dinner is in the oven, so I have ran out of time. Hopefully I will post a few more tonight. =) And if you are lucky, maybe I will post a picture of our new daughter to be. Kitty daughter that is.

Trying to adopt #2.

September 07th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

We are currently waiting to see if our application gets approved to adopt another kitten! We are totally cat people now, there is nothing better! Well even though I have been under a lot of stress lately, I haven’t developed stress acne! Ha! Just a lot of bills, and it feels just like we never see the money we make. Well hopefully I will be able to update every one about the pending adoption tomorrow! Yay!

Household of sick people.

July 27th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

So we have all came down with something that is flu like. I had it first, then Eric, Sissy just now came down with it, and thankfully Gavin has not yet got it so far. It is horrible! Thank goodness Chewie doesn’t have it, ha! Tomorrow when I go to work I am going to sanitize everything! I am going to even throw away all of those cheap pens we have and bring out some new, germ free ones. Pens and pencils are germ party spots!

Craigslist

July 16th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

I am so sick of posting something on Craigslist and then getting it flagged and removed for no reason at all. I am apparently not the only person that is upset over this.  Seems there is a bad batch of people that are constantly flagging posts just to be mean. They must think it is funny, but it really makes me mad. I love craigslist, or I did love it. We are currently trying to find a kitten on there, but it isn’t going  very well. The kittens we do find on there are too old, or are sickly looking, or just aren’t what we are looking for. I am apparently going to have to drive 2 hours to get a kitten, because there aren’t any around here that I would like to raise. There are always tons of diamond rings on there as well, and I wish I could buy one! I would like to have a wrap for my solitaire.

Keep it cool this summer!

June 29th, 2008 | Category: Misc.

Something that people don’t really thing about is their computer temperature. It is very important to make sure you keep your CPU fan clean of any dust. It is also important to check it once a month, as well as dust the whole CPU. There is nothing worse than overheating your computer. There are computers now that actually have coolers. Eric had looked into one of those, when he found that for some strange reason our fan wasn’t cooling like it should. Even his graphics card has a mini fan. In the near future Eric is going to just buy a new case and rebuild the computer to his specifications. After having a fan malfunction on one of his own computers, he understand the importance of keeping his cool, especially during the hot summers we have here. If you are looking for information on fans and coolers, you need to check out http://www.xoxide.com/cpucoolers.html!
